Kelsie Guthrie & Bennett Geister

Kelsie Guthrie & Bennett Geister

Kelsie agreed to go out on a blind date and was pleasantly surprised as she got to know Bennett over dinner. The pair felt a magnetic connection and quickly fell in love. Bennett later asked Kelsie to be his wife as they reached the top of Inspiration Point while on a family trip to Jackson Hole.

The Adolphus hotel set an elegant and historic backdrop for Kelsie’s Victorian theme. The bride paid homage to her Mississippi roots with touches of southern charm along with candles, lace, pearls, and blush colored flower to compliment the hotel’s lavish ballrooms.

The couple describes the live music as the most special part of their big day. Fifteen musicians and a gospel quintet traveled from Kelsie’s hometown church to play and sing throughout the ceremony. Just after Kelsie and Bennett said “I do”, their first kiss signaled the trumpets and a live performance of “Oh Happy Day” began while they took their first steps as husband and wife.
