Lindsey Adams & Jarrod Williams

Lindsey Adams & Jarrod Williams

This pair met while attending Dallas Baptist University. Jarrod had to ask Lindsey out three times before she finally agreed to accompany him to a Dallas Mavericks’ game. They spent the evening in floor seats cheering on their favorite team and the next day Lindsey called her sister to tell her that she had found the man she wanted to marry. Two years later, Jarrod flew to Washington, DC where Lindsey was working for a congressman, to propose on the Speaker’s Balcony in the capitol building.

Lindsey wanted an effortless feel to her wedding day, so she let Fetes Des Fleur’s flowers and Beyond’s lighting set a chic purple tone for the reception at the Dallas Museum of Art. Worried that the whole evening would be a blurred memory, the bride and groom set out to make each moment count. Lindsey suggests that newlyweds, “Stop and take a moment when you are experiencing something special. Tell someone how much it means to you that they are there.”
