Patricia Dodd & Taylor Soster

Patricia Dodd & Taylor Soster

Patricia and Taylor met briefly in high school, but didn’t really connect until their junior year of college. Patricia noticed a particularly flattering Facebook photo of Taylor at the beach and couldn’t resist commenting. A few weeks of night-long phone conversations later, Patricia flew to Colorado Springs to visit Taylor and the couple has been inseparable ever since. Taylor proposed on Patricia’s parent’s 28th wedding anniversary at the Dallas Arboretum with the diamond passed down from Patricia’s great aunt.

The couple didn’t set a specific theme or color scheme for their wedding day. They simply accessorized with red roses and mercury glass, then let their beautiful venues take center stage. The newlyweds recall the children’s choir singing and walking through the Saber Arch as two of their favorite moments. After an evening of dancing and mingling with loved ones, the bride slipped on her mother’s vintage dress and they made their getaway in style.
