Tiffany Farha & Immanuel Ward

Tiffany Farha & Immanuel Ward

There are two types of people in the world: Those who believe in chance and those who believe in fate. Although many would say that a random encounter at Immanuel’s work place is meeting by chance, for Tiffany and Immanuel it was fate. The two have been together ever since. One evening, Immanuel casually went to dinner with Tiffany as if it were any other night. After they got back home, Immanuel mysteriously disappeared to the other side of the house. Having been on the phone with Tiffany’s dad, Immanuel was preparing for one of the biggest moments of their lives. He had made the decision that he would surprise Tiffany by popping the big question that night. “I think he was planning for another formal time, but he said he just couldn’t wait any longer,” says Tiffany.

The couple married on Saturday, December 6, 2014, at Christ the King Catholic Church and opted for a “French-European” theme at their reception. Knowing they wanted a sense of formality to their wedding, Tiffany and Immanuel paired black-tie elegance with the magic of a warm winter-y feel. The two chose to have a sit-down dinner with silver and gold as their “base palette” and added in deep, rich colors to create a regal and refined atmosphere. Tiffany’s mother thoughtfully surprised her daughter and new son-in-law by arranging for snowflakes to light up the ceiling of the reception, tying their holiday theme together. Perfect for the occasion, guests were offered a minty mojito as the couple’s signature drink which was cleverly named, “The Merry Me.”

Making the evening even more special, Tiffany and Immanuel chose to honor their grandparents who are no longer alive and even dedicated their ceremony to them. The couple also took several sweet photos with family heirlooms to commemorate their past as they celebrated starting a future together. – Emily Holt
