Angelina Wooldridge & Brant Pallasch

Angelina and Brant met as freshman in college while both attending Southern Methodist University. After six years together, Brant popped the question on a sunny afternoon in Paris while crossing the Love Lock bridge.

Leading up to the wedding, it stormed for seven days straight. The worst of it came the night before the big day with rain and wind so bad that it blew open Angelina’s patio doors of her hotel room and soaked the carpet. A special moment came though when she woke up to parted clouds and perfect weather. “We took it as a good omen,” says Angelina.

For their dream day on Saturday, May 30, 2015, the couple wanted something that felt intimate and fun. “Less like a wedding and more like a fabulous dinner party,” says Angelina. They incorporated little touches that felt authentic to them: blue and white china was spread around the space representing Angela’s love for blue, and the couple chose a French croquembouche instead of traditional cake as a nod to their Paris engagement. In remembrance of Angelina’s grandmother, Rosemary, and other loved ones who could not be there, rosemary sprigs were tucked throughout the arrangements. The couple ended the night dancing with friends and family to The Royal Dukes Band.
