Sarah and Andrew had known each other since their awkward teenage days, but they didn’t hit it off until nearly a decade later. Their lives had been intertwined because Sarah’s older brother was Andrew’s best friend. After graduating from college, the timing was finally right. They ran into each other at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Greenville, and a week later they were on their first date. They’ve been together ever since.
New York City has always had a special place in their hearts. With Sarah’s birthday approaching, it was the perfect excuse for another trip. Little did she know, Andrew had other plans in mind. After brunch one weekend in Manhattan, they strolled around Central Park. What seemed like an hour of aimless wandering in the June heat to Sarah, was actually Andrew searching for the bridge with their photographer at the ready. He finally found the bridge, got down on one knee and popped the question. Sarah was completely surprised and said yes.
Sarah attended Southern Methodist University where she studied Finance and History. She currently works for her family’s business, Midway Press. Andrew went to Texas A&M where he studied finance and also works for his family’s business, American Flood Research. They will marry Memorial Day Weekend at the Meadowood Resort in Napa Valley.
