Tracy Regan & Andrew Albertson

Tracy Regan & Andrew Albertson

For Tracy Regan and Andrew Albertson, it all began at their hometown in Tampa, Florida, where the couple grew up together. They maintained their same, tight-knit group of friends even through college, at the University of Central Florida. It was there that Tracy and Andrew became more than friends and began dating. After college, they made the move to Dallas, where they would begin their careers (Tracy works in sales at D Magazine). Andrew surprised Tracy with a proposal at the rooftop of the Gansevoort Hotel in New York. They were finally married on February 4, 2017 at the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, Florida, with their friends and family around them.

The couple wanted to keep the wedding classic and clean, with a color scheme of black and white, paired with metallic accents-an appropriate palette for winter. To create a sense of a winter wonderland, the venue was filled with a flowing mix of white hydrangeas, garden roses, Queen Anne’s lace, dusty miller, and eucalyptus with birch branches extending on several guest tables. Each table was romantically lit by mercury glass votive candles. Personal touches and DIY details were laced throughout.

The party got started early at the Museum of Fine Arts, which was the venue for both the ceremony and the reception. “One of the best moments of our wedding day was when the guests hit the dance floor before dinner was even served,” remembers Tracy. At one point, Tracy and Andrew’s friends and family lifted them up above the dance floor. “I will never forget looking down thinking someone was going to drop me!” says Tracy. Another highlight of the evening was when everyone squeezed into the same photo booth for a group picture. It was a sweet, fun-loving celebration for a couple who’ve known each other for a lifetime.
