Built in 1936 in conjunction with the Centennial Fair, Texas Discovery Gardens is within the setting of iconic landmark buildings. TDG is a biodiverse garden. These gardens sustain the life of plants and animals that make their home in North Texas. That is its beauty and strength. TDG is an oasis in an urban setting. Still a secret to many.

Our couples enjoy the outdoor gardens yet can be secure in knowing a built-in rain plan exists inside our Grand Hall. Our couples have the luxury and freedom to select the eight-hour rental that works best for their event. TDG couples and guests have over 7 acres exclusively for their event.
KNOWN FOR
Texas Discovery Gardens is known for its lovely fountain at the end of the Grand Allee. As well as our Grand hall with 3-sided, two story, floor to ceiling windows where the eye extends onto the manicured Circular Lawn and Veranda. As an added bonus is our three story glass conservatory filled with over 500 free-flying exotic butterflies and tropical plants.
