A Blowout Bash for a Couple Whose Faith Brought Them Together

When she was 19 years old, Lindsay Culp began to pray for a man like Garrett Schwab to be her husband. Three years later, Garrett Schwab himself asked Lindsay on a date. The two met through a Christian ministry at The University of Oklahoma, and they married on January 11, 2014, at the First United Methodist Church in Midland. Nearly 600 guests attended the party that followed. Lindsay says that Matthew 21:22—“If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer”—came alive to her through Garrett.
