August 29, 2020
When Emma Barry and Patrick Anderson were seated next to each other at the wedding of mutual friends, they had no idea that four years later, they’d be having a wedding of their own. Though COVID forced a postponement, they put the extra time to good use, taking ballroom dancing lessons to ensure a smooth first spin around the floor as man and wife. And on August 29, 2020, they did nail the dance—and promise forever—in a weekend-long celebration, packed with special surprises for their guests. At the end of the reception, the newlyweds took a joy ride through downtown Dallas in the back of a 1957 Ford Skyliner convertible. “It was a really special memory,” Emma says. “I loved getting to spend time with just Patrick, reflecting on the amazing day we had.”
