“In sickness and in health” is a fitting phrase for a couple of doctors to include in their wedding vows. And Aimee Hoyer and Nicholas Macpherson made that pledge when they married on July 5, 2014. “I’d always thought about a beautiful tented wedding outside with a lot of natural elements,” she says. “But it was going to be hot, and we didn’t think that would be possible.” Instead they wed at SMU’s Perkins Chapel and held a grand reception at the Four Seasons in Las Colinas.
