There was a mutual attraction when Laís Penna met Jacob Loewen during an internship, but dating was off-limits. When the program ended a year later, Jacob asked Laís out. They were engaged within a month. When rain threatened to dampen their February 22, 2015 nuptials at BonTerra Farm, the resilient duo simply moved the party to the barn. “I got to marry the man that God has created for me,” Laís says. “At the end of the day, that’s the most important thing.”
