In 2002, Lauren Kitchens—of Food Network fame—founded Fancy Cakes by Lauren, a wedding cake studio in Dallas. She has since turned her craft into aspirational art. With over 800 clients a year, she and her staff of artists design each cake to the client’s needs, from elegant (and sky-high) wedding cakes to mind-blowing sculpted designs.
