Change of a Dress: “I wanted the look of two dresses without actually having two dresses,” says Tiffany, who added a slit to her Carolina Herrera gown that was hooked shut for the ceremony, then opened for a reception-ready second look.

One of a Kind: “Tiffany emphasized that Phalaenopsis orchids are her favorite flower and that she wanted them to be at the forefront of all her floral,” remembers Brandi Metts of Blushington Blooms, who designed Tiffany’s bouquet entirely out of the cascading stems.

A Walk to Remember: In a touching twist, Tiffany’s mother walked her down the aisle. “She’s my best friend, and she’s been the person I’ve always looked up to in my life,” Tiffany says.

All in a Row: Tiffany had a clear vision from the get-go, remembers florists Javla Metts and Brandi Metts of Blushington Blooms, who used 520 Phalaenopsis orchid stems in the wedding florals. As Javla notes, “[That’s] a ton, considering each orchid has around 12 blooms! Although they carry a hefty price tag, they yield huge returns with the massive statement they create.”

A Room With a View: “As soon as they took me to the top floor, I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is it,’ ” Tiffany says of first laying eyes on the ballroom inside the historic Fort Worth Club. The long room “just begged for a table to match,” says planner Jess Wegner. “Guests would also be entering the party this way, so we knew we had to make a show-stopping first impression.” The massive head table and orchid display did the trick, in a look Jess says is “one of my favorite things I’ve done.”

Family Jewel: The bride’s “something blue” was an aquamarine ring that belonged to Tiffany’s stepfather’s grandmother—with which he proposed to Tiffany’s mother. Tiffany’s sister also wore it at her own wedding the year before Tiffany’s nuptials, making it an extra sentimental piece.

When Tiffany Ford and Ritchie Tanner locked eyes at an LSU-Oregon football game, the score was irrelevant—they’d already won. That instant connection was the beginning of a mostly long-distance relationship, with Ritchie relocating to Fort Worth just months before he made Tiffany his bride. On October 5, 2019, they tied the knot in the all-white, orchid-filled wedding Tiffany had long envisioned, with help from Ritchie’s son, Hayden, who served as ringbearer. (A year later, they welcomed daughter, Ava, to their team.) Says the bride of her picture-perfect wedding day, “It really was a dream come true.”
