Amy Sowan and Blake Rodgers’ Rustic Wedding at Sacred Oaks

Amy Sowan and Blake Rodgers became fast friends when they met as freshmen at Baylor University. The pair kept things platonic for eight years, but when Amy moved back home to Dallas, she says, “Something clicked.” After a year and a half of dating, Blake proposed a carriage ride to look at Christmas lights. He popped the question at Lakeside Park. On July 5, 2014, in front of 225 guests, they tied the knot at Sacred Oaks at Camp Lucy and promised to be friends forever.
