With everything you’ve got to accomplish in the months leading up to your wedding, remembering to make time for your beauty and wellness regimens can be a tall order. Fortunately, Dallas has no shortage of places that can help you reach your goals quickly and safely. Check out these five newcomers to the local skin-care lineup—and one great way to relieve wedding-planning stress.
Skin Laundry
Membership has its privileges at Skin Laundry, one of the most recent entrants to the Dallas skin-care scene. Don’t expect every service under the sun; facials are the sole focus here—for good reason. “Skin Laundry was founded on the belief that everyone deserves healthy, radiant skin,” says Mina Chun, BSN, RN, director of clinical development for the Los Angeles–based company. “We deliver on this belief by doing one thing really well.” Not only are all services performed by licensed medical professionals, they’re fast—most are 30 minutes or less—and the results are, too. Their popular Signature Laser Facial effectively targets acne, rosacea, and hyperpigmentation with zero downtime. Though you can purchase a one-off treatment, you’ll score reduced prices if you’re willing to make a monthly commitment. They offer several tiers to suit your budget.

Ever/Body
There’s something for everyone at Ever/Body. New to Texas, the New York–based cosmetic-dermatology brand offers a plethora of treatments—from injectables and peels to body sculpting—to address a range of concerns. New clients begin with a consultation, in which the extensively trained staff aims to demystify and customize cosmetic dermatology to meet your unique needs, on your timeline—whether you’re prepping for your wedding events or looking for long-term results. “We sit down with brides and ask, ‘What would you like to see?’ or, ‘What do you love and want to highlight?’ ” says Dionne Fawcett, center manager for the Preston Hollow location. “Then we talk to them about their timeline—not just the wedding but pictures, showers—and work backwards.”

Heyday
Sometimes you just need a quick fix or—when wedding stress reaches its peak—some impromptu self-care. Facial and skin-care shop Heyday is there for you whenever you’re in need of a glow-up—no appointment necessary. (Advance bookings are welcome if you’re too type A for such spontaneity.) The menu is limited to their signature 50-minute facial, but once you meet with your aesthetician, your session is customized to your needs. Got dry spots, blackheads, or fine lines? The experts here will determine the best products and techniques for your particular skin-care goals. And if you’re in need of a little extra pampering, they also offer facial enhancements, such as LED light therapy, microdermabrasion, professional peels, and gua sha massages.

Eight Hands Are Better Than Two
Walking down the aisle is no walk in the park. If you need to supercharge your pre-wedding relaxation regimen, head to The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas Spa, where you can indulge in their Texas Eight-Hand Massage. It is exactly what it sounds like: four massage therapists working on you simultaneously. We tried it out recently, and though we were nervous—as people who admittedly don’t love being touched—that such an experience would be overwhelming, the masseuses’ ability to synchronize their movements somehow resulted in one collective sensation, and any jitters we felt quickly melted away. Modest types should take note that with four areas of your body being simultaneously tended to, you’re a little less covered up than during a standard massage. But after the hour’s up, you’re also a lot more relaxed.
