Designer Bride: Danielle, a graphic designer by trade, designed the modern silhouette of the seating chart flags, which were produced in acrylic by Shag Carpet and hung from a frame provided by Bleu Luxury Rentals, then accented with flowers.
Under Cover: The front of the house was used for cocktail hour, and the reception was held in the backyard. Danielle’s father built a pergola that housed some seating underneath, while the dining tables were arranged under the Sperry tent lined with string lights. “It was kind of magical,” Danielle says of the reception setup.
Seasonal Tones: To accent the neutral color palette, Danielle used summer tones of peach and coral—maintained from her original May wedding date, which had to be postponed—and incorporated burgundy wine to suit September. The terracotta pots complemented the backyard garden-party feel.
Right at Home: “I really wanted it to feel homey and warm, like you’re just having a bunch of people over for a really nice dinner,” Danielle says. The velvet and plush textures of the lounge seating and rug offered a cozy area for guests to take a break from the dance floor.
Delicate Touches: Danielle calls butterflies her lucky symbol, so she incorporated them throughout the wedding—including on the wax seal of her invitations and letterpressed on some of the paper, which she designed herself.
