The Couple
The two began dating at TCU. After meeting at a college party at mutual friends’ one night, Ahnie was extended an invitation to Topper’s birthday the following day.
The Proposal
Five years of on-and-off romance later, Topper surprised Ahnie with a proposal one Sunday morning. It was Mother’s Day, and the two had plans for brunch with both of their families. They were early to the festivities, so Topper proposed a walk around Arlington Lee Hall. As they leisurely circled the property, they stopped at a spot where Topper had arranged flowers to be set out. He then got down on one knee. Ahnie’s mother and sister were hiding in the trees with a photographer to witness the special moment. A Mother’s Day reunion turned into a heartfelt celebration.
The Wedding
Ahnie Gampper and Topper Sheehy will be married on June 10, 2017 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. A reception at Catamount Ranch will follow the ceremony at Holy Name Catholic Church.
