The Couple
To this day, Kimmi Hildreth and Tyler Bailey still disagree over who endorsed whose skills on LinkedIn first (they met on the business networking platform). After the Oklahoma State University graduates’ first date, it was clear their relationship was not going to be strictly professional. The date lasted for hours, and the two agree that “it’s been love ever since.” Kimmi studied international business and currently works as a real estate agent for Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty. Tyler studied strategic communications and works as a digital marketing specialist for TNT Dental. As a tradition, Kimmi and Tyler give each other “experiences” as presents, which has allowed them to explore various eateries all around Dallas, travel the world, and even jump out of a plane together!
The Proposal
Although he had been planning to marry Kimmi for several months beforehand, Tyler decided to propose after a year and a half of dating. To satisfy Kimmi and her love for wine, the couple traveled to Napa Valley—a wine-lover’s dream. After having spent two days in San Francisco, Tyler and Kimmi drove up to Napa and ventured to their first vineyard at Round Pond Estate. With a photographer stealthily trailing them to capture the perfect moment, Tyler eagerly got down on one knee in the middle of the vineyard’s olive grove. Although Tyler nervously forgot to take the ring out of the box during the proposal, Kimmi wholeheartedly said, “Yes!”
The Wedding
The couple will be wed in beautiful Texas Hill Country on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Ma Maison in Dripping Springs.
