The Couple
The two met online. After their first date, they never looked back. It was known that they were in it for the long run, as hints about the future were exchanged. Tommy proposed a little over a year after they began dating.
Monica attended the University of Oklahoma for undergraduate and received her masters at Texas Christian University. Tommy went to Southern Methodist University.
The Proposal
The groom had a plan for an elaborate proposal, which was foiled when the ring arrived well before he expected. Once it was in his hands, he couldn’t contain his excitement, and he proposed on the campus of SMU in front of Dallas Hall shortly thereafter.
The Wedding
Monica Ferguson and Tommy Valenta will be married on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the University Christian Church in Fort Worth, Texas.
