Pull out your PSL’s, your knee highs, and your chunky knits: it’s officially fall. And while it may not feel cool enough to don your sweaters and boots just yet, I know we’re all dying to snack on pumpkin bread during a Hocus Pocus rewatch. So, to help guide you into the autumnal season, let’s take a look back at our picks for some classic fall wedding inspo.
For her big day, Hannah Spaniel worked with Wendy Kay of Birds of a Feather Events, who suggested adding in touches of maple leaves to really bring the fall factor. Meagan Bechtel and Zack Starr focused on creating a warm, intimate setting for their wedding by making sure they had great food for their “dinner party” reception—a task well-done by Camp Lucy’s on-site restaurant, Tillie’s.
Gina Priolo and Colin Peterson wed at the Dallas Arboretum…during pumpkin season no less! Their moody-toned florals and lush leaves were echoed through not only their florals but their invitations as well. Kirby Stuart and Adam Gaulding were able to combine two aesthetics of a “European garden” reception with their full-fall floral scheme for their wedding at the Olana. To do so, she combined jewel-toned blooms and gold-dipped smilax vines. Blair Dwyer chose velvet bridesmaids dresses in burgundy and marigold for her harvest-time wedding, playing off the rich tones of her venue’s foliage-heavy scenery.
And so, as the days get shorter and the weddings get bolder, we bid you a Happy Fall!
