Lauren Mish and Ryan Trimble met while working for members of the Texas State House of Representatives. Though they supported opposing parties, they found a way to meet in the middle where romance was concerned. Six years after their first date, they cast a vote for a lifetime together. Nearly 150 Democrats and Republicans set their political differences aside for the September 1, 2013, affair at The Filter Building on White Rock Lake.
