In addition to the timeless beauty of the building, Arlington Hall’s serene setting made it a “dream” venue for Meredith: “I love that it was set in this beautiful park witha view of Turtle Creek.”

The simple cake incorporated the couple’s monogram—a decorative element designed by Shuler Studio that also appeared on paper goods, embroidered napkins, and the bar front. Planner Whitney Bailey says having a consistent decorative element early on ”made the event so cohesive.”

Classic Contrast: In keeping with the reception florals, which utilized heavy greenery to evoke a garden feel, Meredith’s bloom-packed bouquet, designed by Something Pretty Floral, featured a variety of leaves to accent the pastel petals.

Pictures with Puppies: Furry friends make for adorable photos, but they’re not always the most cooperative participants. Photographer Stephanie Brazzle says when taking pictures with pets, it’s important to get your photos quickly and early. “I tell clients to have someone bring their pet to the beginning of the shoot but have a plan to take them away so we can focus on getting the other pictures,” she says. “I also always suggest taking the dog on a short walk to get some energy out before I arrive.”

Cascading Creations: Meredith knew she wanted a tented reception, and Arlington Hall provided the perfect “blank slate.” Planner Whitney Bailey helped her achieve a classic look by filling the space with lush greenery and white flowers to create a striking space that kept its airy vibe.

College sweethearts Meredith Brewster and Parker Hibble wanted a classic wedding with a garden-like feel. They grew up on opposite coasts, Meredith in California and Parker in Florida, so both families met in the middle to celebrate the couple’s new life together in Dallas. The pair tailored their day with personalizations unique to them, from the groom using his late grandfather’s Naval sword to cut the wedding cake to their puppy, Georgia, getting involved. Meredith says being surrounded by friends and family made the day memorable, but it was their private last dance that most stands out in her mind: “That was the first moment where we got to be together alone and soak it all in.”
