College sweethearts Meredith Brewster and Parker Hibble wanted a classic wedding with a garden-like feel. They grew up on opposite coasts, Meredith in California and Parker in Florida, so both families met in the middle to celebrate the couple’s new life together in Dallas. The pair tailored their day with personalizations unique to them, from the groom using his late grandfather’s Naval sword to cut the wedding cake to their puppy, Georgia, getting involved. Meredith says being surrounded by friends and family made the day memorable, but it was their private last dance that most stands out in her mind: “That was the first moment where we got to be together alone and soak it all in.”
First Dance: “You Are The Best Thing” by Ray LaMontagne (as performed by Downtown Fever)
Honeymoon Destination: Maui, Hawaii
Something Old: The bride wrapped a piece of lace from her mom’s wedding dress around her bouquet.
