The simple cake incorporated the couple’s monogram—a decorative element designed by Shuler Studio that also appeared on paper goods, embroidered napkins, and the bar front. Planner Whitney Bailey says having a consistent decorative element early on ”made the event so cohesive.”

Classic Contrast: In keeping with the reception florals, which utilized heavy greenery to evoke a garden feel, Meredith’s bloom-packed bouquet, designed by Something Pretty Floral, featured a variety of leaves to accent the pastel petals.

Pictures with Puppies: Furry friends make for adorable photos, but they’re not always the most cooperative participants. Photographer Stephanie Brazzle says when taking pictures with pets, it’s important to get your photos quickly and early. “I tell clients to have someone bring their pet to the beginning of the shoot but have a plan to take them away so we can focus on getting the other pictures,” she says. “I also always suggest taking the dog on a short walk to get some energy out before I arrive.”
