Meredith Woodruff and Grady Reiff met in college at a mutual friend’s birthday party. They hit it off straightaway, but it would be more than seven years before wedding bells would ring. (Give Grady a break. After undergrad, he wanted to finish law school before getting married.) Though the courtship was long, they made up for it with a speedy, six-month engagement, and the two wed on June 23 in a ceremony filled with meaningful touches. The service was at Meredith’s childhood church. The officiant was Grady’s uncle, a Baptist minister. The two even wrote their own vows (that morning!), bringing their 200 guests to tears.
