Emanuel Brighiu followed his passion—tennis—from Romania to the United States to play at TCU, but he found a love of a different sort off the court when he met Perri Sammis in English class. They dated three years before he proposed over a Thanksgiving weekend. They were married July 14, 2012, at Highland Park Presbyterian Church, 25 years after Perri’s parents walked down the same aisle.
