Blue Crush: The Alfred Sung bridesmaid dresses were an easy choice for Brittany because they checked all the boxes: classic style, beautiful silhouette, and the perfect pale blue color to complement her overall wedding palette. Let Love Grow: The design team opted for turf flooring in the ceremony tent to make it feel as if the flowers were growing naturally in the space. Though the front and back of the tent were enclosed, the sides were open to give the space an open-air feel. “I also wanted to highlight the landscape and the scenery,” Brittany says, “which is why we went with that beautiful clear tent.”

Summertime Nuptials Inspired by the Couple’s Engagement Location Take Place at Colorado’s Lazy J Ranch

After Brittany Davison and Cameron Brown’s January 2022 engagement at Highland Park’s picturesque Flippen Park, it was only fitting that their wedding later that year would be a garden-party-inspired affair. “I knew I wanted a lot of really colorful flowers,” Brittany says of her whimsical summertime nuptials, which took place at Colorado’s Lazy J Ranch. And thanks to the team at Emily Clarke Events, that’s exactly what she got. But even though the couple’s rainbow-colored, flower-filled day was absolutely perfect, Brittany does have one regret: “I wish I had spent more time on the dance floor,” she says. “It went by so fast!” —Rhonda Reinhart

“Our main goal was bringing a whimsical garden into Colorado nature,” says planner Emily Clarke of Emily Clarke Events. “For the flowers, we took inspiration from the Colorado landscape, pulling colors you would see in wildflowers there.”
