Taylor Mitchell and Daniel Gillespie
February 22, 2020
Patience is a virtue that Daniel Gillespie knows all too well. After he spent more than a year pursuing Taylor Mitchell through a mutual friend, she finally responded to an Instagram story he posted of himself playing tennis. A group tennis date turned into an all-day affair, culminating in a late-night dinner at Javier’s. It was there that Taylor realized why her best friend had been so insistent on setting them up, and the two quickly became inseparable. On February 22, 2020, in perfectly crisp, late-winter weather, Taylor and Daniel said “I do” in front of 250 of their nearest and dearest. The bride, wearing Sareh Nouri, donned a garter worn by both her mother and grandmother at their weddings. After hours of celebrating and dancing to the music of In10City, the newly minted husband and wife shared a private last dance to Ellie Goulding’s rendition of “Sweet Disposition,” their favorite song.
