Simone Jameson and Tommy Henderson – Seaside, Florida
The laid-back, beachy vibe of Seaside, Florida couldn’t have been more perfect for chill bride Simone Jameson. “They had to wake me up on the morning of my wedding because I was sleeping in,” she laughs. She and Tommy Henderson chose Seaside for their big day but wanted to bring in details from home to keep their destination affair true to them. Simone, who was born in Romania, worked with Romanian designer Maria Lucia Hohan on a custom gown for her big day. And, the couple sourced fudge favors from their hometown’s Fort Worth Fudge confectionary. See more from their maritime nuptials here!
Emily Salas and Caton Sanders – Yucatan, Mexico
Although Emily Salas knew she wanted a Mexican wedding, she didn’t want her day to feel like a typical, resort-style party. When she and fiancé Caton Sanders found Hacienda Tekik de Regil in Yucatan, Mexico, it was kismet. The charming town of Merida—recommended to the couple by family and friends—was the perfect mix of aesthetics and authenticity. Emily kept the decor minimal, choosing greenery and white florals to accentuate the venue, letting the estancia and church shine. Find more details from the couple’s endearing wedding here!
Bliss Bonan and Josselin Calador – Charleston, South Carolina
Bliss Bonan and Josselin Calador’s love story is truly one for the books—American girl studies abroad in Paris and falls in love with a French man. After Josselin popped the question, the duo decided on Charleston, South Carolina, for their wedding as the ideal meeting point for their families. As Bliss wasn’t sure she wanted a traditional wedding, she allowed her mother and event planner Karli Spangler to take the lead. The trio worked together to create an affair that would encapsulate the couple’s casual style and perfectly blend their two different backgrounds. The color palette showcased the Southern style of the location, and the details brought in French-inspired additions, like the lavender sprigs incorporated into the place settings.
