Then-SMU students Madeleine Marston and Connor Davidson met at a late-night gathering in the McElvaney dorm. A friend was playing Red Hot Chili Peppers. “In an effort to up the energy, Connor switched the music to a Disney sing-along playlist. I was impressed,” says Maddie. Six years later, Connor proposed. On August 8, 2015, the “ethereal secret garden look” provided the perfect backdrop for Maddie to dance with her prince to Aladdin hit “A Whole New World.”
