Yes to the Dress: Carly said yes to a Ti Adora dress at Lulu’s Bridal with four very important ladies in her life: her mother and sister as well as her soon-to-be mother-in-law and sister-in-law. “I tried on four or five dresses and ended up being torn between two,” Carly says. “But in the end, it was the one that I felt like myself

Surrounded by Love: In traditional Jewish fashion, Carly and Javier were married under a chuppah, an open-sided structure that symbolizes the home and life they would soon build together. Carly Gaines and Javier Zablah’s intended celebration of more than 150 international and local guests overlooking the Dallas skyline was reimagined amid the pandemic into an intimate affair for 30 at the Mason. The venue held true to the bride’s original vision with its jewel tones and historic charm, and brought together the couple’s closest loved ones for a ceremony decked in deep reds, greens, and birchwood followed by a cozy reception at their Lakewood home. “Before the pandemic, I was pretty stressed about the big original wedding and focused on little things like the perfect cocktail napkins,” Carly recalls. “But COVID reset us both mentally. We were just excited to get married and realized we could do it anywhere. Despite all the odds, we woke up after our wedding day feeling so loved.”
